Our commitment
Brambled Lavender is committed to making brambledlavender.com accessible to all women, including those with disabilities. Accessibility is not an afterthought for us. It is part of our core belief that every woman has a place here.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.
What we are doing
We are actively working to ensure our website is accessible, including:
- Using clear, high-contrast text that is easy to read
- Structuring pages with proper headings so screen readers can navigate them
- Adding descriptive alt text to images
- Ensuring all interactive elements are keyboard accessible
- Using plain, clear language throughout our site
- Designing for mobile and desktop equally
Known limitations
We are a small, woman-owned business building our website with care and intention. While we are committed to accessibility, there may be areas of the site that are still being improved. We are committed to addressing any issues brought to our attention as quickly as possible.
